The January challenge is up on 'What's in the Bickie Tin?'

This month's requirements are;

 

 The colour Blue
Add some Sequins or Confetti
Use at least 3 layers

 

 Here is my page called 

'Love you SO MUCH'

 

and some close ups of the layering...

I used the Colour BLUE - blue butterfly, blue pom pom around frame, 

blue fussy cut flowers and leaves, blue bird etc...

I used SEQUINS - dotted around my page

I did LAYERING - photo on top of frame and floral pieces 

layered on top of each other for dimension

Lets get to our first months challenge and win some prizes and points.....

SHELTER

RULES and the Brief....

Please read through all details for this challenge thoroughly!!

For this challenge you must add ‘shelter’ to your page.

The definition of shelter is a place giving temporary protection from bad weather or danger.

On Survivor (the reality TV show), one of the first things each tribe had to do was build shelter to protect them from the elements. They used palm trunks for the sides and roof and palm fronds to cover the roof

Your shelter must have sides and a roof.

Your shelter can be handmade from sticks, paper, canvas, material, burlap,

fibres, card stock, icy pole sticks etc....

Here are some ideas for your shelter...

Theme = Shelter

Camping = tent, or caravan

Wedding = church or rotunda

Family = house

Farm = barn or farmhouse

Snow = igloo

Beach = cave

animals = dog house, cat palace

circus = circus tent (BIG top)

**Not into building shelter then you can add an embellishment**

Here is my example ‘Zoological Gardens’

I made my shelter from Cardstock and burlap, and it has sides and a roof.

It is large but you can add something smaller to your page...

Cheryls shelter looks like a house and is made of paper

Mary went with a snow theme and made an igloo shape from paper

Libby made her shelter from laminated leaves

Survivor is a monthly/year long challenge based on a point system!

(As part of our 10 year annaversary here on Soul Scrappers for 2020)!

Imagine we are all marooned on a desert island where we must provide food, water, fire and shelter for ourselves. We compete in challenges for rewards (prizes), and immunity idols (points)

The member with the most points at the end of the year long challenge will be awarded the Grand Prize and will be named Soul Scrappers Soul Sole Survivor

The challenge will run til the end of December and the Winner will be announced early Jan 2021

Each month prizes are added to a Prize pool that will be awarded to the winner!

Anyone can win, International members are most welcome!

There will be no-one eliminated from the game.

The more games and challenges you join in, the more chance you have of becoming the Soul Sole Survivor.

oted at tribal council by the Soul team!
