Into My Fairy Garden Come

Here is my take on 'Scrap that Poetry' poem this fortnight. I had this page half finished when I left the DT, so I managed to finish it off last night. the poem for inspiration is .....

There is Another Sky
by Emily Dickenson

There is another sky,
Ever serene and fair,
And there is another sunshine,
Though it be darkness there;
Never mind faded forests, Austin,
Never mind silent fields—
Here is a little forest,
Whose leaf is ever green;
Here is a brighter garden,
Where not a frost has been;
In its unfading flowers
I hear the bright bee hum:
Prithee, my brother,
Into my garden come!

You have until October 31st at 10 am EST! to link your entry to the post. So, come on join in......

Here is my take, I used the last line of the poem and I put a spin on it as my title.

'Before I Kick the Bucket''

My list has been in my head for a long time and it was glad to get it out artistically on paper. I have achieved a lot in my 52 years, like marriage, raising kids, travel, interesting job, water sking, etc......

This list incorporates the things I hope I can achieve........ some are crazy, some are quirky, some are down right stupid but thats what life is all about :)

I painted the galvanised bucket, onto another art piece for my laundry so, I took a photo, and then cut it out for this project. (I will upload and show you shortly :)
I added a sexy leg with diamond embellies on the black heels, the stripey leggings just look so 'me' lol
I added a sea of flowers and then stuck a R.I.P tombstone, cross, skulls and the grim reaper :(
I scattered some of my listed'bucket list ' items through out the sea of flowers.

This is my list.......

Travel to Turkey and explore the Roman Ruins

Here is the washboard painting I did for my laundry, I used the galvanised bucket for amy's THC18 'Bucket List' challenge. I took a pic and turned it on its side, and then cut it out.
