Hi Ladies!
This month at Pixels and Paper challenge blog the inspiration comes from the clock 'Big Ben'.
Big
Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the clock at the north end of
the Palace of Westminster in London, and often extended to refer to the
clock and the clock tower although the tower is now officially known as
the Elizabeth Tower (formerly the Clock Tower). The tower holds the second largest four-faced chiming clock in the world. The tower was completed in 1858 and had its 150th anniversary on 31 May, 2009.
So I took the opportunity to finish off decorating my 'Memories' clock which was an off the page class at 'A Scrappe Tiger Retreat' back in November 2013. The original childrens clock was bright yellow so after sponging and misting we got a great mottled coverage. We had to pull the whole clock apart and put it back together to be able to decorate and paint it!
My inspiration came from the clock face which I have embellished and added a memory photo, my favourite photo of Hasan and I, and I now keep it on Hasans heart table in my bedroom......
and some side views.....
Thanks for the inspiration to get my 'Memory' clock finished......
I just Love it!!
