The Tutorial for the technique can be be found HERE.
You are required to:
- Create a 12x12 layout. Either a 1 or 2 page layout (your choice)
- Use the Faux Cloisonne' technique on your page
- Include a minimum of 2 matted photos per page
- Post your photo to the proper Gallery
- Have fun!
Here is my entry for Gwens TC17 - Faux Cloisonne challenge. I used the butterfly and journaling spot from the Stampin' UP! set 'Great Friend. I stamped onto the Skooter man glossy magazine page and then embossed with gold. I love this technique.
This is Kahlii my Niece on her 18th birthday which she celebrated on November 20th 2009.
I love the background pp (creative imaginations - Christine Adolph called 'Voyez en Arriere')
And a close up
Here is a close up of Gwens TC17 - Faux Cloisonne technique.
Hopefully you can see the embossing a lot clearer.
And here is the Glossy magazine page that I used for the embossing
Hi Gwen!
I really loved your challenge. I havn't embossed for a long time and forgot how much fun it can be.
The tutorial was great and very easy to follow. I will definately use this technique again sometime soon. :)

This is a wonderful LO of your niece, Shazza! And I really love the technique. I just recently got an embossing buddy from my Stampin Up club that I haven't used yet--so now I have inspiration--Thanks!
